This isn’t about whether you or I think my body is looking ‘good enough’ or ‘perfect enough’; it’s about being in a place where I can recognise that my worth and my value doesn’t increase or decrease based on my appearance, and to be honest, that I’m in a place where I rarely feel the need to look at my body, never mind have an opinion on it.
It’s about breaking free from the diet culture rule book and eating without guilt or restriction, even though I can’t exercise, because my body still needs, wants and loves food!
And it’s just a moment of appreciation for the wild body image & inner healing journey I’ve been on because past me could only have dreamed of finding this amount of inner peace and contentment 🫶🏻🥹

We’re all going to be too much or too little for someone. We all have issues. We’re all a bit weird in our own way and have thoughts that could never see the light of day. We all feel ashamed for how we acted in the past. We all have insecurities that feel so fickle and vain, and parts of ourselves are too afraid to love out loud. We’ve all ‘failed’ in some respect and succeeded in ways we’ve failed to acknowledge. We’re all contradictory and complex and complete messes at times, but the one way to make your human existence harder is by beating yourself up for all of the above.

I fully know there will be screenshots of me in people group chats and people slagging me off from afar, from my morning skanking to me flouncing around the streets, to me simply having this as my job; I KNOW I’m not cool lol- I don’t want to be cool or to live my life in a way that deters people from judging.
If you’re someone who cares a lot about what other people are thinking, I hope you can land in a place where you start living for yourself and what YOU want to do. @galgormresort hasn’t won Best Luxury Spa Resort & Best Destination spa for nothing- it’s just perfection 👌🏼😍
This was my second time visiting Galgorm, the first being 7 years ago! I was blown away then, but this time, after expanding, I was fully wowed! 🤩
It boasts indoor and outdoor thermal experiences spread across 3 separate gardens, waiter service in most areas of the spa, 3 restaurants, multiple types of accommodation, and unreal customer service- I’ve never seen or been to a spa like it!
& the craziest thing about it, it how affordable it is compared to most spas in the UK- well worth the £30 return flight from Manchester! 👌🏼
