Released on this day 33 years ago (April 16, 1991), “Miracle” was the third single from Whitney’s ‘I’m Your Baby Tonight’ album. Written and produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface, the single reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, #2 on the R&B Singles Chart and #4 on the Adult Contemporary Chart.
“I Have Nothing” held the #4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks in 1993 – only held back by the record-setting sales of The Bodyguard soundtrack.
Wishing a joyous Easter to all who celebrate!

On this day in 1988, Whitney’s “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” — the fourth single from her second album, ‘Whitney’ — reached #1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. The song was produced by Narada Michael Walden and written by Frank Wildhorn and Chuck Jackson. It would later become her seventh consecutive #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, beating The Beatles and The Bee Gees (who were tied at six) — a record that still holds to this day!
