Brooke Ence Instagram - Ready to crush a chipper workout? Sometimes it’s nice to do a workout that doesn’t have anything that’s really technical. We’re talking all bodyweight exercises. So push hard and see what you’re really capable of.

Tip of the day: Stay aware. Don’t go dark and just kill yourself in the workout. When you stay aware you can pay attention to where things get tough - at what rep did you need to take a break? Or at what rep did you get burnt out on a strict movement? So let’s do this.

Brooke Ence Instagram - My favorite 🍑 exercise: Barbell Bulgarian Deadlifts!

If you haven’t tried these before, go light! They are surprisingly hard.

Try these tips for dialing in your form:

1️⃣ Position your foot: The back foot should be elevated on a bench or box, with your front foot in the center of the barbell. 
2️⃣ Get your shin vertical like a normal deadlift and hip slightly above parallel.
3️⃣ Squeeze your shoulder blades down and back
4️⃣ Keep the bar close to your body and stand to full extension

For this ladder workout you’ll start out round 1 with:
5 DB Deadlifts, 5 Sit Ups, 5 Push Ups.

Each round add 5 reps to each exercise. So round 2 would look like:

Try these tips for dialing in your form:

1️⃣ Position your foot: The back foot should be elevated on a bench or box, with your front foot in the center of the barbell. 
2️⃣ Get your shin vertical like a normal deadlift and hip slightly above parallel.
3️⃣ Squeeze your shoulder blades down and back
4️⃣ Keep the bar close to your body and stand to full extension

5 DB Deadlifts, 5 Sit Ups, 5 Push Ups.

Each round add 5 reps to each exercise. So round 2 would look like:

And so on!!!

So set your timer to 15:00, and go as far as you can. Your score is the total number of rounds/reps. If you give ‘er a go, post your score so you can show off all your hard work💪
