Bryan Cranston Instagram - When you’re in Southern California, between San Diego and Orange County, Swing Inn the cafe there in the sweet town of Temecula. You’ll see a familiar face - who also happens to own the place! Great diner breakfast!!  Way to go, Dean. Nice to see that Hank doesn’t hold a grudge against me @deanjnorris
Bryan Cranston Instagram - I am very saddened today to learn of a friend’s passing. Mark Margolis was a really good actor and a lovely human being. Fun and engaging off the set, and (in the case of Breaking Bad and Your Honor) intimidating and frightening on set. His quiet energy belied his mischievous nature and curious mind… And he loved sharing a good joke. I miss him already. Rest now, Mark and thank you for your friendship and your exceptional body of work.

Bryan Cranston Instagram - Hey everyone, I hope this little message finds you well. Some news came out that wasn’t entirely clear…even to me. So I wanted to set the record straight.

I am not retiring.

What I am going to do is hit the pause button for a year after I reach my 70th birthday in 2026. Holy crap - 70!
I’m not even sure what ‘pausing’ means entirely, but at this moment, I think it means that by taking a year off it will provide several things;

First, it will allow me to spend time with Robin (my beautiful wife of 34 years now) in a way that I haven’t been able to in the last 25 years…not as a wife of a celebrity, but as a loving married couple entering into - well, let’s be honest, our latter years, with new hopes and goals and experiences.

Secondly, it gives me a sort of ‘reset’ in my career. I’ve had such an unbelievable ride for over two decades - with playing characters on TV, films, and on stage that I could only have dreamt about…until it actually happened. I could not be more grateful and thankful for such opportunities. That said, I feel as though I’m beginning to run out of fresh ideas in how to play characters that I’m being offered. So exploring a more expanded life experience will give me the chance to replenish my soul and prepare for whatever roles I may be afforded in a more authentic way.

I will unplug from social media, step off the hamster wheel of business, and dive into the classic novels that I’ve always promised myself I would read but haven’t…But before that happens, I’ve got some unfinished business.

Several films are coming out soon that I’m very proud of, I am producing a few stories for TV that I really love, and I am circling my attention on returning to Broadway - but this time in a new light…more on that later. For now, let me just express my deep gratitude to all of you who have been so incredibly kind and generous with your time in reading my posts and following my career. I never take my good fortune for granted. I am blessed, and man, do I know it. I wish all of you well…and I’ll see you down the road.

Love, Bryan

Bryan Cranston Instagram - Today I woke up to news that has made me anxious all morning. My friend, Bob Odenkirk collapsed last night on the set of Better Call Saul. He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.

Bryan Cranston Instagram - *NOTE: Our trip was just before the greater Jasper area was hit with a devastating forrest fire. When the area recovers, they will be in great need to get up and running again and welcome tourists back to this glorious part of the world. It’s worth the trip.

Hello again for the next part of the journey…

We set off by way of the Rocky Mountaineer train tour, snaking through the Canadian Rockies to Jasper.  Tablecloth service, excellent food, beautiful scenery, nice folks… and I remained mostly unrecognized for the trip. I often get asked “Has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like Bryan Cranston?” To which I reply, “Yes. You know, I’ve heard that a lot.”  And then go about my way…

In Jasper we arrived in perfect weather. They were expecting us at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge and we had a beautiful log cabin to settle in for a couple days… A man of the wild… with his plush robe and hot cappuccino.

We took a tour on the spectacular Maligne Lake. And yes, it really is turquoise… stunning views on this glacial lake.

They’re not immune to forrest fires and had a really bad one a few years ago. We’re told, this one was started by carelessness. A shame.

Back at the cabin, the attentive Fairmont staff wanted to make sure that we had a close encounter with some wild life. I had no idea Grizzlies could be that delicious.

We dined that night at the hotel (why leave perfection?) and tried a Bison steak… Very tasty and tender…

The next day it was time to say goodbye to the Jasper Park Lodge. As we headed out, we saw a mama grizzly and her cubs along a lake… I wanted to go taste that one too, but Robin advised against that… I wonder why?

Tomorrow it’s on to Lake Louise… see you then,

Bryan Cranston Instagram - I heard the news that my film, The One And Only Ivan is being pulled from @disneyplus as early as next week. I was very proud of this sweet, family movie that was released after the COVID Lockdown began. And I urge you to gather your kids, or nieces & nephews, make some popcorn, and watch this engaging and delightful story that was based on real events! The real life guy that I play actually adopted a baby gorilla (Ivan) and raised him in a Washington state suburb. A crazy true story!! Thanks to Disney for giving us the opportunity to make this movie in the first place. I just know that it will make for really great family time - but you have to do it this weekend before it disappears forever. I promise, you’ll be glad you saw it. Have a great weekend… Bryan.

I just know that it will make for really great family time - but you have to do it this weekend before it disappears forever. I promise, you’ll be glad you saw it. Have a great weekend… Bryan.

While shooting a movie in Atlanta I’m renting a house in a cool neighborhood to get connected with the city. However a neighbor couple, ”the roaches” have also moved in. I put out a glue trap so that I can send them home… But instead I caught this handsome lad.

Panicked, and feeling awful, I brought him to work and asked Tiesha Haynes, one of our great production assistants, if she could help me out with the lizard while I was being called onto the set.

After Googling “How to free a lizard from a glue trap” (not kidding), Tiesha gently did just that. What a hero. She saved his life, and my guilt. Lazarus, came back from certain doom to be in pretty good shape.

He was eager to get on with his life in a lush, natural habitat. And I learned my lesson - no more glue traps, only natural deterrents for bad neighbors from now on.

Thanks Tiesha. Good luck, Lazarus.

Bryan Cranston Instagram - Here we are... all are stuck in this five months of quarantine! Can you imagine how Hal would have gone bonkers on #MalcolmintheMiddle if he had to stay inside with his five knuckle-headed boys?!  Makes me smile to think about that. So, if you’ve been missing some silliness in your life, check us out this Saturday night 8/8 for a 20th anniversary celebration of the show’s premiere. The cast is back!! This time we’re reading the pilot episode on Zoom. The whole thing is the brain child of Linwood Boomer, our show’s creator, to benefit his charity @HealingCalifornia, an amazing organization that provides FREE dental, medical, and vision care to those in need. There’s also lots of great stuff from the show that could be yours. Bid now on @Charitybuzz, link in bio. @RWQuarantunes See you on Saturday!
Bryan Cranston Instagram - What a year this has been. As always, we have to pick ourselves up and march forward, while also trying to help those around us who are struggling to pick themselves back up. In continuing what we started last year, beginning today through May 5th @doshombres will be donating 100% of the proceeds from online sales to three selected charities: @fiuhospitality Relief Fund, @USBGNCF Foundation and @stylesaves. Raising a glass to all our first responders and folks working hard on the ground. Wishing everyone a better 2021.

Bryan Cranston - 1.4 Million Likes - I am very saddened today to learn of a friend’s passing.

Bryan Cranston - 1 Million Likes - Hey everyone, I hope this little message finds you well. Some news came out that wasn’t entirely clear…even to me. So I wanted to set the record straight.

I am not retiring.

What I am going to do is hit the pause button for a year after I reach my 70th birthday in 2026. Holy crap - 70!
I’m not even sure what ‘pausing’ means entirely, but at this moment, I think it means that by taking a year off it will provide several things;

Love, Bryan

He is in the hospital in Albuquerque and receiving the medical attention he needs but his condition is not known to the public as yet. Please take a moment in your day today to think about him and send positive thoughts and prayers his way, thank you.

Tomorrow it’s on to Lake Louise… see you then,
Bryan

We’re told, this one was started by carelessness. A shame. Back at the cabin, the attentive Fairmont staff wanted to make sure that we had a close encounter with some wild life. I had no idea Grizzlies could be that delicious. We dined that night at the hotel (why leave perfection?) and tried a Bison steak… Very tasty and tender… The next day it was time to say goodbye to the Jasper Park Lodge. As we headed out, we saw a mama grizzly and her cubs along a lake… I wanted to go taste that one too, but Robin advised against that… I wonder why? Tomorrow it’s on to Lake Louise… see you then, Bryan

Bryan Cranston - 400.2K Likes - I heard the news that my film, The One And Only Ivan is being pulled from @disneyplus as early as next week.

Jane and I adored her superb talent and fun spirit. She was a slice of sweet potato pie - check that, just sweet potato...sliding off your face during a Malcolm food fight! You are already missed, you great broad, you.

Bryan Cranston - 295.6K Likes - Here we are... all are stuck in this five months of quarantine!
