It feels like the moment he was born someone put our lives on X1.5 speed and suddenly here we are celebrating a whole decade with this incredible person in our lives. I feel so lucky that we got to be the humans that shared almost 17 years of our lives with her. Not only was she an awesome companion for us, helping to teach our kids about how to be compassionate and caring with animals, she also gave blood a number of times to save other cats lives. What a hero! Thanks for all the cuddles Leia, I’ll miss you on the pillow. X

Tom Fletcher Instagram - Today we are celebrating my grandad’s 90th birthday. All the family got together at the weekend, which itself was a rare, magic moment, but it was made even more special when, just before leaving, the birthday boy himself sat down at the piano and gave us a song. Whether or not he chose to play “As Time Goes By” intentionally or not, he couldn’t have picked a more appropriate song. It had Nan dancing and us all gathered around the piano. Happy birthday grandad. X
