Valentina Shevchenko Instagram - Two weeks ago, my sister Antonina shared with me her decision to officially end her fighting career and dedicate herself fully being a pilot.

I want to extend my warmest wishes to her in this journey,  knowing she will conquer the skies just as she conquered the ring and the octagon!

The profession of a pilot demands extensive knowledge, concentration, willpower, and responsibility—qualities that are strikingly similar to those required for a successful career as a Muay Thai and MMA fighter.

Over the past seven years, Antonina has flown solo across America, from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic, and from the Canadian border to Mexico, navigating a small Cessna 172. She has landed at some of the most challenging small airfields in mountainous regions, deserts, and islands, even in the dead of night and during fog, tropical rains, and lightning storms.
She became a lieutenant of the Civil Air Patrol flight unit, which boasts a history as an air force military unit dating back to the 1940s.
For a year, she served as the captain of an eight-seat Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for Tradewinds Airlines, where she piloted her  aircraft to San Barts, one of the most demanding airports in the world.
Currently, she has been flying a Citation Latitude jet aircraft for over a year as a co pilot in business aviation on the East Coast of the United States.

Antonina's journey in martial arts spans 30 years.
She holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Taekwondo, has been an 11-time world champion in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA, and has participated in hundreds of fights in both amateur and professional.
She is a champion of Asia and South America and has been recognized as an Honored Master of Sports and a UFC fighter.
Antonina won her first world championship title in Thai boxing in 2003, the same year she also became the world champion in the professional  MMA in South Korea. Throughout her career, she has fought in various countries, including Peru, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, Mexico, England, Thailand, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Sweden, France, Belarus, Russia, and the USA.

From her early training ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Valentina Shevchenko - 18.6K Likes - Two weeks ago, my sister Antonina shared with me her decision to officially end her fighting career and dedicate herself fully being a pilot.

Valentina Shevchenko - 18.6K Likes - Two weeks ago, my sister Antonina shared with me her decision to officially end her fighting career and dedicate herself fully being a pilot.
