Heyyyy that’s your girl on the movie poster 🙌🏽 SO excited to finally get to announce that DARK CLOUD is now streaming & coming soon to select theaters—This is my first lead role in a feature film, and having the opportunity to bring this character to life was a dream come true. Playing Chloe was such a fun challenge—most of this film I was acting opposite a piece of green tape that eventually became our AI, AIDA, with the help of some movie magic 😂🤍 thank you all so much for your support—many of you know I’ve been (mostly silently) grinding for years as an actress and these moments are a reminder to myself and hopefully to each one of you that it’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it to chase your God-given dreams… and trust me. This was a wild dream for that little Cuban girl begging her momma to let her go to my neighborhood musical theatre camp in 4th grade when I knew we couldn’t afford it. (Mom still made it happen for me though.) Thank you @jay_ness for trusting me to be your CHLOE! Hope you all watch “Dark Cloud” this weekend or catch it on the big screen!! If you do, be sure to tag me & #darkcloudfilm ! Can’t wait to share what’s next!

I planted the peonies in 2021. The year I planted them, they were tiny bushes— no flowers. Last year, on Mother’s Day, the first flower bloomed. Across all four of my plants, there was one single flower and I was so excited to see it. A tiny glimmer of hope! This past winter the frost was so intense that I prepared for the fact that they probably died and wouldn’t come back…but to my surprise, over two years after planting them, this year we have dozens of peonies. All of it struck me. Isn’t that such a metaphor for life? The day we plant the seeds is not the day we get the flowers. Sometimes the struggle of our trials—the deep grey winter seasons are so tough we think the dream has died and our hope says there’s no chance of survival—and somehow, spring comes. A delayed yes to our prayers, our work, our patience. A full on bloom beyond our wildest dreams. From nothing, to one, to DOZENS. I think the big blooms of life are headed your way too. Keep going 🌸
