Meet the newest addition to our family: Keony Lee Ithiphol. He was born on Saturday, November 25, 2023. 🥰 (Pronunciation: kee-OH-knee) We are beyond grateful that our surrogacy journey has allowed us to meet such wonderful people and helped us to become a family of four. 🙏🏽💖✨
We close out this profoundly transformative year in deep gratitude. Equally joyful and fulfilling as watching Rai grow into an utterly delightful toddler, we got to welcome Keony into the world, again with the help of an amazing gestational surrogate. Kelly, and her incredibly supportive husband and family, were among the greatest gifts of 2023. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with them, and for the friendships we’ve all been able to form. Our journey of growing our family in this unimaginably meaningful way truly couldn’t have been possible without Kelly. She is one of the most caring, compassionate, and generous—of spirit and wisdom—people we’ve had the fortune of getting to know. We are now, and forever will be, indebted to her for the innumerable and invaluable ways she has enriched and transformed our lives. 🫶🏽✨

I got to play a little one-table poker tournament on @startrek_thecruise and was proud to win it! I’ve never done the official winning-hand photo when I’ve won a tournament before, so it felt like a good time to do it. Thanks to my fellow players for a fun game! It’s been an amazing week on the high seas. The only bummer has been the fact that I’m flying solo on the ship — Royal Caribbean requires infants to be 6 months old to be on board, and Keony is only 3 months old. Next time, @teerakeni and the boys will be with me and that will mean all will be right in the world.

Cabaret is a show that has been a part of my life since I was a young boy — I was in a community theatre production when I was 8 — so I am always excited to spend time in its presence. There are many thrilling aspects of this latest production at @kitkatclubnyc — not the least of which are the incredible preshow dance performances spread throughout the lobbies, and are themselves worth the price of admission. The Kit Kat Klub Girls (happily including some gender bent members) fiercely embody their athletic, decadent choreography with aplomb. And, as always, the show is a call to action in the face of complacency against the rise of fascism, which is sadly all too relevant today here in the States and around the world. Thanks to @teerakeni and our friend @ludwigdefrenne for joining me on this journey.
