President Biden implemented the last big part of our Bipartisan Safer Communities Act this week. It will require nearly 25,000 currently unlicensed dealers of guns to get licensed and perform background checks for gun sales, at long last closing a gaping loophole in our federal gun safety laws. This will save lives.

Visited Vinnie’s today on my Walk Across Connecticut. He started selling strawberries from his family’s farm in Windsor when he was 10 years old. 71 years later he just had his best sales year in a decade in Windsor Locks. He wants more housing in the town’s business district. #WalkCT
