This Christmas is a little different. My wife got Covid so she’s been quarantined in our bedroom while I’ve stayed with the baby (luckily we didn’t get it). She’s been feeling down about it all so I made this little video to remind her that Christmas is a feeling, not just a date on the calendar…so not to worry because she definitely provided that feeling perfectly for Juju’s first Christmas. Headphones on! Catching a vibe with the insanely cool new T-60 from @demedasheffects . This thing is so unique & tastefully weird, and it’s got a ton of features and uses. But anyone who knows me knows I gotta be able to get a cool sound going quickly – so here’s what I got after like 5 minutes. I’ll have to do another video after diving deeper into all the different things this unit can do! I’m blown away by how warm and soft and natural it is. Plus the stereo out is super important for my scoring and production work. Just like the T-120 videotape delay (another of my favs) this one easily captures that worn out blurry tape nostalgia in just the right kinda way 🖤 #music #video #unboxing #gear #studio

First in a series I’m calling My Favs is my oldest and most reliable guitar: a 2005 Fender Telecaster. This is not custom, or American made – it’s a Mexican Tele I got new for like $250. It just sounds so good, and plays so well, it goes to show you don’t need a fancy expensive guitar to make music. I had it modified with a 4th pickup option and I just love it so much. It’s easily my main go-to, and if I could only keep one instrument, this would be it.
