Forever thankful for the one, the only, Chantal Janzen. A great friend and amazing colleague, and someone I can just count on. We’ve shared endless laughs and questionable conversations 😂, and I’m sure there are many more to come. Thanks for everything @chantaljanzen.official
I still got it babe! 😂
My guy, Ty, is my nephew, but is so much more. We are boys! Yes, he’s half my age and yes, I do my best to be a cool uncle when he’s around 😜, but we have done a lot for each other over the past 18 months. He likes to point out how I’ve been there for him, but the feeling is mutual. And we got plans! Thanks @tymancini for being a great friend…even though you’re perpetually late!
The Wonderful Rebekka! Her kindness and expertise as a writer and storyteller made the experience of writing my book, If I’m Being Honest, a memorable one. What started as journaling I handed over with some fear, as the thought of someone reading my real story for the first time gave me pause. Her reaction was honest, objective, and understanding. And we were off and running…and writing! I’m so thankful to have her guidance through such a personal and powerful journey. And we’re not done! @rebekka_w_r_bremmer

Today’s thankful post goes out to Angie and Dana at Eleat Sports Nutrition who did wonders for me on my Ironman and marathon journeys. They held me accountable on what I ate, day-in and day-out, keeping me fueled and ready to go each step of the way. And they let me eat ice cream! Angie is on the podcast this week talking about all things nutrition, and how it affects our mental health, mood and energy. Go listen! @eleatnutrition @danahortonrd

A little dancing, a little talking, a lot of connecting. Awesome 2 days! #dkhonest
My IMP family – as you can see, these guys make work fun! Incredibly thankful for their talent, vibes and friendship on the podcast, our documentary, and while losing darts behind a wall. Big things coming from this team in 2024! @impthinkreel
Today’s gratitude post is for Chris Herren. His story, work, and willingness to share it made an immeasurable difference in my life and recovery. And he continues to do that for people across the country and around the world. As the guest on my podcast, he managed to freeze me for a moment with a hard fact when he said, “You would have been mediocre. You would have been a mediocre father.” So true. I had to put it in the book! Thank you @c_herren_

This is Brad McLeod, the incredible person behind Sober Motivation. Today’s thankful post is for him, not only for what he has done for me, but what he does for the entire sober and recovery community. His tireless work helps so many. I was fresh out of rehab and searching for support and community, and he was there. Our common bond continues to grow and I’m grateful. @sobermotivation @brad_mcleod

This is FloMaster, or just Flo, or Jerry, or Dad. He’s an athlete, trainer, dancer, b-boy, and all-around amazing guy. Flo is one of the people I’m incredibly thankful for in my life. While I was struggling, I watched him lead by example with his kids, motivating and inspiring them and everyone around him with his active lifestyle, positivity, and generosity. He left a mark on my life that has stuck with me, and I am grateful. Thank you @flomaster73
Kid loves to fish, I love to be there with him.
This is gonna be ugly.
Reading is an incredible habit. Among other things, I promised myself I would read more (a lot more) in 2024. Early morning reading has been the trick. It’s had quite an effect on me.

It’s all moving so quickly. Have to slow it down when I can.
