Detox Instagram – Took my mommy to see @deathbecomesher for opening night and had such a great evening reliving one of our fave movies from my childhood. Thank you so much for the invite @broadwayinchicago! She absolutely LOVED it! What an incredible stage adaptation full of some of the most iconic highlights of the film. Stunning sets and costuming, fantastic score, hilarious jokes, gaggy effects, and powerhouse performances! The ensemble is as gorgeous as they are talented! @michellewilliams as Viola Van Horn is fiercely stunning and the vocals are delicious! @christopher_sieber’s Ernest Menville is perfectly erratic & hilarious! But BABY!!!!!! @meganhilty & @thejennifersimard are PHENOMENAL!!!!! If you want perfection, you’ll find it here!! I cannot recommend this show enough for fans of musical theatre and fans of this beloved film. So! Much! Fun!!!!
