Rocky remains one of George’s most distinctive and beloved guitars. To honor the Day-Glo icon, @fender has lovingly replicated the 1961 original. In addition to carefully recreating Harrison’s brushstrokes, the George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster features a trio of vintage-style ‘60s Stratocaster pickups for a dynamic, crystalline tone and a Mid-‘60s “C”- shaped maple neck. Hear @rodneymullen as the voice of Rocky and head over to the link in bio to learn more.

20 years ago I finished what was, to this day, the most difficult project I’ve ever worked on; to finish my Dad’s last album without him. There’s no way in the world that had I waited, even a year, to do this, I could’ve gotten through it. Looking back 20 years now, I specifically want to thank Jeff Lynne, Ryan Ulyate and Marc Mann for being such wonderful people and for teaching me so much. This was the project that threw me into the deep end and I ended up winning a Grammy for “Marwa Blues”, one of the songs I produced.
@jefflynneselo, I love you, thank you for being such a dear friend to my Dad and thank you for letting me come and live in your house whilst we worked this great conundrum out. I still think this is one of the best records I’ve ever worked on and it’s worth a relisten, now more than ever. The issues being tackled on this record are extremely eye opening and pertinent.
Maximum love vibes x Dhani
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the release of George’s album, “Live In Japan”. Released in the US on this day, July 14th, 1992, the album was recorded in December 1991 when George played 12 shows with @ericclapton and his band across seven cities in Japan. What’s your favorite track from the album?
George was a @f1 enthusiast and some of the drivers from the sport, including @sirjackiestewart, @96f1champ and @emersonfittipaldioficial, were among his best friends. In his book, ‘I, Me, Mine’, George talked about his love of F1 and how the song ‘Faster’ came to be: “‘Are you going to write a song about motor racing, George?’ was a question I was asked a lot by various people from the Grand Prix teams during visits I made to the races. So I did ‘Faster’ to write about something specific, as a challenge.”

Mo Ostin was the Patriarch for free-spirited artists who flourished in his orbit. To the families of those artists he was the voice of reason and security. Two and three generations of our families merged into brotherhoods and sisterhoods and we have shared joys and sorrows.
Perhaps music was the heart of this extended family, or perhaps it was Mo’s heart that brought the music. We were privileged to be a part of his story.
To Michael and all the family, we extend our heartfelt condolences. He lived a good long brilliant life. Love you all, Olivia Harrison ❤️🙏🕉.
