It was a beautiful few days listening, learning, and building connections with our partners in the Northern Central Coast! 🤝 The Latino Community Foundation team spent the day our community partners listening to their hopes and dreams. Together we discussed how philanthropy can support the innovative solutions they are driving!💡 From LCF’s capital campaign investments to our economic justice investments in land trust and land ownership models, we witnessed the power of grassroots leaders. Their love for community is breaking cycles and healing this generation to create a new reality for Latino families.🧑🧑🧒🧒 LCF lives for these days! It was an honor and a privilege to learn from our leaders. We will be back real soon! @santa_cruz_barrios_unidos, @kitchentableadvisors, @albafarmers, @digitalnest, @jobyaviation, @mujeresenaccion831, @cfmco, @sccvonline, @ranchocieloyouth, @youth4alliance

The @LatinoCommFdn is strengthening frontline organizations engaged in healing and movement-building. Our Latino Nonprofit Accelerator is a groundbreaking initiative that has led to a growing network of confident Latino leaders who are joining forces to build the California of our dreams. The love and collaboration between @alashmb and @brownissues shows the fruits of this program! Dr. Belinda Hernandez-Arriaga, Executive Director & Founder of ALAS, and Brown Issues’ Executive Director Kimberly Gudino are unleashing their power to advocate for senior farmworker housing in Half Moon Bay. From a social media campaign to public comments, these leaders are ensuring our communities have the resources they deserve.🏠 A representative democracy and an inclusive economy is possible when you invest in Latino leaders! Check out our stories and add your name to the petition. 📸: @mashachern1

Great letter to the editor in the @latimes by @christianarana23 .
Our #PoderArte partners at @artists_ink know that careers in art hold the keys to various job prospects and aren’t just a hobby! This is why we are grateful to have been able to launch our PoderArte initiative to fuel civic leadership and support California’s creative economy!
Promotoras bring health and wellness to our communities, and it’s time for them to be fairly compensated! Last week, LCF convened partners in the North Bay to discuss investing in our Promotora Cooperative Initiative, a new community-based model that compensates excluded workers, like promotoras, and helps seed equity for their essential work. Our community partners hold the key to helping create labor policies that include all workers and create a just economy!🔑
