Julian Daigre Instagram – If only sticking to your fitness New Year’s resolution could be this easy.. 🤭 it ain’t. 👇🏼 Here’s some tips to stay on track: 👉🏼 Mentally implant your why. What’s your motivator in wanting to prioritize your fitness? Use THIS as your driving force. (To look better? Feel better? For my kids? For my family? My long term health? A zombie apocalypse? All of the above?) 👉🏼 Start off with realistic goals. This 💩 takes time. 👉🏼 Prioritize holding yourself accountable. It’s not selfish. Making excuses gets you nowhere. 👉🏼 Slowly build on intensity. Begin adding additional movement into each day. Depending on your fitness level, this could be anything from active stretching or a walk each day, to adding higher intensity interval training or weight lifting. Just push to do more. 👉🏼 Accept failure. It’s going to happen. If you’re not failing from time to time, you’re not challenging yourself enough. 👉🏼 Track what you’re fueling your body with. Cannot stress how important this is when it comes to seeing results. The @1stPhorm app helps tremendously with this. (DM me for details) 👉🏼 Admire your progress and remember your WHY. If you’re consistent, there will be progress. These are just a few tips that I’m using as a personal checklist for myself and my goals.
