Langston Hues Instagram – Traditionally a father should be the one to teach their son, a host of lessons about life, and the nature of humanity.
But, my son is the one doing the teaching. He’s taught me about the frailty and temporary nature of life.
He taught me about the might, love, and priority of God.
Today, like other children born December 16, 2022 – He should be 1 year old, but he’s not. In turn he taught me about the illusion of time.
He taught me about empathy, and how to resonate with a Palestinian father that loses a child.
He taught me patience and the ability to accept God’s decree.
He taught me that’s there’s a greater destination even if we think that this world is all there is.
If I wrote down all that he has taught me, I’d finish the ink in the pen before I’ve finished the lessons he’s taught.
