The first thing that we do when we are born is take a breath, and it is the last thing that we do when we are making our transition✨

Our breathing is both a subconscious and conscious activity.
⠀
👉We don’t need to think for it to happen, but if we are conscious of it, we can create significant changes to our physical, emotional, mental, and energetic health.

Unfortunately, nowadays, the lung capacity of the majority of people is lower than normal🪷
⠀
If you want to see natural breathing, watch a newborn👶
⠀
They naturally practice deep breathing by using the diaphragm, a muscle under the lungs, to pull air into the lungs🫁
⠀
For many of us, this kind of breathing is no longer instinctive😮💨
⠀
Instead, many people have become shallow chest, or thoracic, breathers—inhaling through their mouth, holding their breath, and taking in less air.

Over time our breathing patterns have changed due to various stressors, like pollution, noise, and other causes of anxiety.

👀Shallow breathing can lead to panic attacks, dry mouth, fatigue, respiratory problems, and cardiovascular issues.
⠀
The good news is that breathing can be converted from an automatic to a voluntary function and that we can use mindful, conscious breathing practices to retrain our patterns and improve physical and mental health🙌

❤️As we return our breathing to its natural state we had as children, we reduce anxiety and stress, integrate our emotions, gain more mental clarity

It is one of the most valuable tools for connecting our physical body with our energy body.
