What do you guys think? Can you do this? FINALLY, we made it to the mountains of Pakistan where in the KPK region we found the most remarkable stone lifting style ever seen! Here, @jawadahmedchamp cleans and squats a 150kg (330lb) stone with ease. During the clean, the stone is not allowed to touch the body. Only in the catch, during the receiving stage of the lift, can the stone rest on the chest. Afterwards, the competitor will squat the stone with each squat adding points to their score for the following opponent to attempt and best. STRENGTH UNKNOWN

This is called “Iron Ring,” it’s used as an accessory for traditional mud wrestling to strengthen the neck. The ring weighs 100 kg (220 lbs). Within a few repetitions, at this weight, the traps, upper back, and neck muscles immediately tense up. Finishing just one set, I felt a pump in my neck like never before. . . Unraveling this history for our series “Strength Unknown” is going to be wild! – We’re standing on top of a mountain in the Svenati region of Georgia attempting to ring this bell! They say it’s 100kg(220lbs), but it seriously feels more like 200kg! This was hard! – The ethnic people of Svenati, the “Svens,” compete with one another to see who can get the most rings of the bell without setting it down. Not to be underestimated! This ancient culture is STRONG!! 💪
Sandbag suicides are killller! Too many strongman competitors rely purely on barbell strength, and neglect that they are athletes when it comes to show day. Being able to move quickly, consistently, and without slowing down, is paramount to winning carry medleys! – with that said, I’ve got to do these more! I’ve been taking it very easy over the past few weeks to nurse my back, and it shows. This sandbag is the heaviest thing I’ve lifted in a while 😆 @theworldsstrongestman @romarkweiss

I often argue, stones are the most important event to make into your strongest. If you can get to a point where you can lift even the second heaviest stone in a medley for the amount of repetitions that there are stones in the medley, you’ll be able to breeze through the series. Then it’s just a matter of practicing speed, footwork and positioning.

Motorskill acquisition! This week, we worked on hitting the maximum amount of sets for triples at 80% in under 20minutes as possible. The aim is to get 5-8 sets with excellent form, and to come out the other end with energy to spare. Come by @wreckitgym and join the class!
