Donald Trump, Prisoner No. P01135809, just arrested at Fulton County Jail on 13 felony RICO racketeering and conspiracy counts. No word yet on whether there was the standard “strip and cavity search.” He filled out and signed the Felon Intake form claiming that he has “blond or strawberry hair” and weighs only “215 lbs.” Can they add a perjury charge?

When you’re young, you can only take so much b.s. And when you watch a bunch of older white racist Southern men — i.e., the Republican supermajority of the Tennessee House of Representatives — attack two young black elected House members for “improper decorum” when they spoke out against gun violence just two days after the mass school shooting last week in Nashville, well racist acts are nothing new to the state where the KKK was born. So Thursday night the Tennessee House Republicans expelled the two young Black Democratic representatives for daring to give voice to those too young to vote — but old enough to be killed at school. It was a stunning moment in the fight against those who seek to destroy our Democracy. On this Emergency Podcast System episode of my Rumble podcast, I also talk about the silver lining of this travesty — which is this action being one more step in the Republican party’s self-immolation… Listen at MichaelMoore.com
I wrote a little letter last week to our former president No.45, forever forward known as Criminal Defendant #4913961R… Read “Dear Criminal Defendant #4913961R” at MichaelMoore.com
DA Fani Willis of Fulton, Co., Georgia, announced that a citizens Grand voted to indict former president Donald J. Trump and his 18 Co-Conspirators (including Rudy Giuliani, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, lawyer John Eastman & others) on 41 counts of racketeering and other criminal acts for conspiring to form an “organized crime enterprise” which attempted to “illegally overturn the 2020 presidential election” through theft, fraud, forgery, impersonating law enforcement, impersonating electors to the Electoral College, and for conspiring with other top elected GOP officials in 6 other states, plus GOP leaders in DC, to overthrow the election and “seize” the Oval Office for a term Trump didn’t win (he lost by 7 million votes). The prosecutor is charging Trump and his crime group under the RICO statutes that are used to convict and imprison those involved in mob-like crimes. The 90-page indictment lists the commission of “161 overt criminal acts” — a breathtaking, comprehensive list of crimes in an enterprise led by Trump. The DA spent nearly 2 years on her extensive investigation. It reads like no stone was left unturned, with a massive amount of evidence obtained by the prosecutors in her office. It also states there are 30 other “unnamed, unindicted co-conspirators” who may be indicted at a later time. So at least 48 people joined Trump in forming his organized crime family to overthrow our Democracy. Unbelievable. How close did we come to losing this country? My Emergency Podcast System edition of “Rumble with Michael Moore” offers an urgent, analysis of this historic moment — and how We, the People, need to stay thoroughly informed and be as active as we ever have been as citizens of this country. This is not the time to have “Trump Fatigue.” This is the moment to put this traitor on trial and make sure that this criminal who has gotten away with EVERYTHING for over 50 YEARS, finally faces Justice. Listen at MichaelMoore.com to hear my take on the events of last night — and what we must do to make sure this never happens again.
Ceasefire Now!
Friends, One week ago today, we went to Grand Central Station where hundreds of Jewish New Yorkers were arrested during a sit-in for peace, demanding that all sides lay down their arms and create a cease-fire in Israel and Gaza. Held by Jewish Voice for Peace NYC (jvpny), it was the largest act of civil disobedience in New York in 2 decades. On last week’s podcast, we took you there with us. If you haven’t yet, you must hear these powerful, and inspiring voices calling for peace. Listen now at MichaelMoore.com — or any podcast app — and share. Link also in stories. — Mike
FINALLY. Your turn Georgia. Crime of the Century. “Just get me 11,780 votes.” He tried to overthrow the government, to overturn the legitimate, certified election. To annihilate the will of the people. Lock HIM up. Throw away the key.
Dear Disgraced Indicted-Felon Man-Baby Ex-President: This week you’ll be arrested, fingerprinted & arraigned for a record 4th time in just 4 months for serious crimes committed in 4 separate states, with all 4 arrests being for 4 very different & distinct crimes. Your serial crime spree included no repetition—it was a new crime each time, across 4 state lines. It’s not like you robbed 4 banks in 4 states or shot 4 people dead in the middle of 4 different 5th Avenues (there are 5th Avenues also in Seattle, San Diego, Naples, FL & Anchorage). One crime involved hush money. Another, the theft of top secret docs. This week’s indictment will be for your brazen attempt to stuff the ballot box in Fulton County w/ 11,780 fake votes for yourself (one more than you needed!). And, of course, the big one from last week: your failed attempt to stage a coup—which cost 9 people their lives (5 of them cops). I’ve never seen anything like this, not even in a mob movie. The diversity of your crimes, how you never repeat yourself—how does one become a recidivist before they’ve actually served a single prison term? Breathtaking. Yes, most of your crimes have the same motive—to enrich yourself & rule over us. But, still—breathtaking. Yet, it got me thinking—you’re so lucky to be an American! Acclaimed Yale history professor, Timothy Snyder, put it so chillingly well this past week. Referring to your arrogant pouting that your “rights” have been violated, that you’re being “persecuted,” that you’re a “victim” of a system that had you arrested by an “illegitimate president,” Prof. Snyder said this: “That Trump will be tried for his coup attempt is not a violation of his rights. It is a fulfillment of his rights. It is the grace of the American republic. In other systems, when your coup attempt fails, what follows is not a trial.” Yes, Mr. Ex-President, in other countries, many of whom you admire, instead of an indictment and fair trial, you’d be handed a blindfold, a piece of rope & a stake they’d tie you to. The (ironic) hood over your head, optional… Continue reading at MichaelMoore.com…
CEASEFIRE NOW!
Guns Don’t Kill People, Americans Kill People: 20 years ago this weekend, “Bowling for Columbine” received the Oscar for Best Doc Feature of the year. It was also the 5th night of the illegal invasion & bombing of Iraq by George W. Bush. I find it difficult to celebrate when the only thing we should consider remembering from 20 years ago this week is this crime against humanity, committed in our name, against the Iraqi people. So I’ll use this moment to once again demand that we, the people, stop & examine why we have such a thirst for violence, a desire to kill our “enemies,” and an insane fear of “the other”—which causes us to possess nearly 400 million guns in our homes. Those who didn’t see “Bowling for Columbine” think it’s a movie about guns. It isn’t. It’s about us. Americans. “The gun” isn’t the star of our movie. We sorta half-agree with the NRA’s propaganda line —Guns Don’t Kill People—Americans Kill People.” Actually Male Americans. Few women spray bullets inside a 1st grade classroom or from atop a Vegas hotel. Every country’s teenagers watch violent movies, play violent video games. There’s a huge mental illness problem throughout the world, and yet, we’re the only country on Earth who kills so many of their own in this way. Why is that? What is it specifically about us? We thought if we could answer “why us” then maybe we could help fix this madness. Our madness. We now average more than 1 mass shooting a day. Guns are now the #1 cause of death among American children. More than cancer. More than auto accidents. Yet no one here hangs their head in shame. We just hope our school, our child, isn’t next. And, if they are, well, millions of Americans will be sure to send us their thoughts and prayers. So on this anniversary of being handed a gold statue while our bombs rained down on Baghdad, I’m going to sit quietly at home, watch “Bowling for Columbine” and think anew about what else we can do to help fix our American soul. Please join me. Just go to MichaelMoore.com and it’s yours to watch, free of charge, through the weekend. Please watch it with me and a few thousand others. We can fix this problem. The film suggests how…
Tony Bennett would have turned 97 today. Here is my podcast tribute to him (below). I first met him 33 years ago. He was a kind and generous man and stood for all the right things. He sang for Mayor LaGuardia at 11 years old. He received the Bronze Star in World War II. He helped liberate one of the concentration camps at Dachau. He marched with Dr. King and Harry Belafonte at Selma. He was one of the last to see Viola Liuzzo alive, a mother of five from Detroit, murdered by the Klan outside Selma. He was a mentor to many. He was there on the opening night of my Broadway show, 3rd row, left aisle. I asked him once for the secret of his longevity. He said, “Never dwell in the past. Live in the moment of today. See the future as your friend.” He hated war, he fought for the rights of all, and he loved the joy his singing brought to so many others. Happy Birthday, Anthony Benedetto of Queens, NY!
