It took us nearly 6 hours to get to Newcastle… 😅😅 Started with Elle needing to crap just as we hit the freeway, then 20 mins in creeping traffic on freeway with Ruby screaming out of control and felt so helpless… then realised we forgot her sleep suit so diverted off freeway again, 30 mins running shop to shop, finally found one in Tuggerah, then as we drove off realised the tag lock thing was left on it… back in we go… then hit the freeway, only to have something fall off a truck or car and run over it at 110km/h and blow out the front tyre. Changed over to the space saver after unpacking and repacking the car 3 times and pinching my arm in the boot which killed! Spent 3 hours the next day ringing around for that size tyre and no one had it… except one… well, different brand but will do the job… thanks Jax in Newy! Pissed down rain for 24 hours but we made the most of it haha and had some nice time with my family up there! Had some fun at Ninja park and the old museum, Elle loved it! Stayed in the old council building which has now been converted into a slick little hotel. Had maybe the BEST ‘old fashioned’ cocktails I’ve had… @rombergsnewcastle superb!
