KUSHIDA talked about making NJPW a global company, noting that he wants to wrestle in countries he has never competed in before like Uganda, the home of SGW. “I think New Japan Pro Wrestling can become a company that can be proud of around the world. Of course the U.S. tournament is important, and I fully agree with what Yota Tsuji said about focusing on Asia. That’s where we can make a name for ourselves in the world.” I think that KUSHIDA, which has been selling products for many years, still has a role to play. If I win the IWGP Junior at this point in my career, I think a different scene will open up. I want to do it in countries I’ve never done before. Wouldn’t Uganda be interesting?”
