With my sister☺️ my soror 🔺 my friend😊 @sybrinafulton ( Trayvon Martin) as our fearless leader, Im gutted that there are sooooo many but humbled to call the 500 plus women my sisters. This weekend at our retreat, the healing -the life shifting- the steps forward continued… not 1 day, but 1 moment at a time.

We lost #trayvonmartin 12 years ago 💔and his mom has been a speaker a supporter a leader of a movement-other moms who are trying to find their life after losing loved ones-traumatic deaths by gun violence and police brutality. Yup… I’m crushing on my sis-the amazing dynamic anointed divinely chosen -hand picked @sybrinafulton. I had to share this exact moment during our #CircleofMothers retreat where my sweet sister received HER confirmation that she has been anointed to lead victims to victory. A big assignment for a big soul ushered in by a big loss OOOWEEEEE!!!🥹🥹🙏🏾💔

With my Ghanaian brother Kofi, we walk the SAME path of our ancestors, at night, barefoot- moving as they did, to Assin Manso river. This river is where enslaved Africans had their LAST bath before being locked in dungeons for up to 3 months prior to the sail to America. To honor them, we start our new year here…unchaining our minds- learning-praying- releasing-taking our FIRST spiritual cleansing bath in the same river. 🥹☺️🙏🏾 we wash our eyes for clearer sight- our ears for sharper hearing- we wash our hands of all that is NOT working in our grasp and cleanse our feet of any wrong path we walk.
The power and energy that is in that river.. STILL.
