Have you observed that you’re almost NEVER silent, your brain is always talking to you. Bout the present, the past, the fears, the excitement. But it’s barely ever silent. However we all have it in us to find something that helps us silence these thoughts. For me it’s hiking.
For me hiking is almost like a state of flow. One foot after another and the chatter dies down. I feel like I’m one with nature and I’m truly present, I obersve the wildflowers, the weird shapes the clouds make and the sounds of shepherds walking by.
