Akilah Hughes Instagram – It feels surreal to be nominated for a WGA award at this moment in Hollywood’s story, but I’m so grateful. There was no better cast (@dailymaley, @chloebadcliffe, @roywoodjr et. al) and no better writers (@eflakeagogo, Roy and Chloe, @nellscovell, Larry, Kurt, Jiehae) on the planet and while it is just an honor to be nominated, I hope for Beyoncé we can beat Carpool Karaoke (respectfully). 🏆 Thank you, Steven Soderbergh, for the opportunity to be silly about serious issues on the planet.
