Alicia Banit Instagram – My second Mother’s Day and I still cannot wrap my head around how incredibly lucky I am to be this perfect munchkins mum and have the most phenomenal person as my mama and Nanny to Isla. Once again this year it is not lost on me what an absolute privilege it is to have these two beautiful humans as MY family. The most sacred and precious of relationships to me, I am so grateful for the immense love and laughter brought into my life on the daily by these two. I used to be able to articulate my feelings so much better but since becoming a mum it’s almost as if the love, appreciation and understanding has grown to a true point of being lost for words. Mama I wish you could feel what I feel when I think about how grateful I am for you and everything you’ve taught me to take into my journey of motherhood. I see the sacrifices you’ve made for your children and the complete encompassing love you pour into being a mum and nanny. My Isla Joy, you are my everything. I was made to be your mummy and my dreams come true every single day looking at your smiling face. Mum once said to me years ago ‘I can’t wait for you to have a little girl one day and to walk hand in hand with her and you’ and since then the last video in this post is EXACTLY what I pictured it would be.
