Something divine has happened and my mind is filled with happiness. When I saw these amazing women on stage of @festivaldecannes creating history.. my mind traveled back and as I remembered all the powerful performances @chhaya.kadam.75 has delivered uptil now.. l also remembered what powerful life she has lived. Her hard work, her honesty, her pure heart.. l remembered everything. I remembered all those magical moments she has created on screen and the strength she has shared with me on screen and every time we have met off screen too.I don’t know @kantari_kanmani or @cup_o_t or @divya_prabha__ or #payalkapadia personally, l don’t know their journey as closely as I know Chhaya’s but as I saw their energy together and l thought l know them too, their honest passion to create something pure, true and their strength to create it the way they want ,come what may. Their sisterhood, their love for each other, their comradery is infectious and l feel grateful to be witnessing this energy, this spirit, this talent.I am touched by this poetic justice done by the universe.I am blessed to have witnessed Chhaya’s journey closely.The happiness and pride I was feeling for her just to realise that her film had been selected for competition section in Cannes, knows no bounds now that the film has created history by winning Grand Pix @cannes_filmfestival This day gives me immense strength and faith.
