Carla Harvey Instagram – Here’s one from our show at Pine Knob in Clarkston, MI last week, the venue i grew up seeing all the big summer concerts at from Motley Crue to Green Day to Lollapalooza to NIN. I saw HOLE there and Courtney Love jumped in to the crowd; people groped her and yanked at her clothes, ripping them. She was PISSED, I was PISSED for her but i was also smitten…i had never seen anyone jump in to the crowd before, male or female. I thought, what a bad ass, I want to do that one day! I know people have pretty strong views on Courtney but she made a huge impression on me as a young person with her early perfomances and i’ll never say otherwise.
