Caroline D’Amore Instagram – I started my company @pizzagirl with 5,000 I saved from a DJ gig. Everyone and I mean everyone told me it was going to be impossible. We all know I never listen when people tell me what to do. In fact when people tell me something is impossible I never stop until I’ve made it possible. I LIVED In supermarkets giving out samples knowing I have the best product out there and I never gave up and will never give up. I made others believe in my dream too so much so that it became their dream. I started my company with little to no understanding of the industry, 0 college education and barely a high school education due to my struggles as a student with severe dyslexia and no direction or help. Still I knew I was going to make it one day. I had the drive and the will to keep going, growing and keep learning how to be better and Pizza Girl is in thousands of supermarket doors with our perfect sauces, we have a thriving and growing D2C business with our amazing at home affordable Pizza Ovens and accessories and are about to launch our brick and mortar division. I remember when people made fun of me for going from a prominent DJ to standing in supermarkets but I just smiled and knew. I knew that I’d win because I just refuse to lose. While Pizza Girl has a long way to go I’m so proud of the journey thus far. When I get asked for advice, I often say never measure your success by comparing yourself to others just measure it year by year and make sure you are far ahead of where you were last year and if you are you are on the right track.
