Charlotte Ross Instagram – ⭐️My single, BOTH SIDES NOW, is out today! 🎉 I’ve teamed up with the iconic, Giorgio Moroder, to sing this classic as it’s touched my soul since I was a little girl. I think we all can relate to looking up at the clouds when we were young, filled with innocence, naiveté and big dreams but as we grew we learned the hard realization that life can be soo unbearably painful at times but… I have found that the beauty of growing older is that the lessons I’ve learned make life richer as a better understanding of myself and my self- worth has, thankfully evolved. I sang this song just days after the love of my life (or so I thought) left me – I sang it in one take and never attempted to try to capture it again as… it’s my soul laid bare. Why I love being an artist, I suppose. I have zero expectations for the release of this song- it’s a true labor of love and a full circle moment as I released an album with Giorgio in Europe when I first moved to LA at 17 yrs old – my dear friend ever since. I hope our rendition of this song reminds you that when one dark door closes and you have the strength to walk through it, the other side is more beautiful and yet, ironically the more we learn… sometimes the less we really know.
