Connie Britton Instagram – Congratulations to Sian Leah Beilock, just inaugurated the 19th – and first woman! – President of Dartmouth College. After 254 years in existence, and only 51 years of coeducation, to see a woman become President of my school was moving and historic to say the least. And gave me the super special opportunity to wear this hat! In my world of inspiring woman Sian leads the pack. Congratulations to her and to Dartmouth for an exciting future ahead.
Connie Britton Instagram – On Friday I had the privilege of going to the opening of @spherevegas and @u2. Bono has been an inspiration to me my whole life, starting in high school when, as I listened to “War”, I realized maybe for the first time that as artists we can use our voices to create awareness and change in the world. Throughout my life I have loved @u2’s music and admired Bono’s tenacity and commitment as a global voice of change. And it has been the greatest honor to actually come full circle and work next to him with @one, his organization committed to fighting poverty and disease around the world. Anyway back to Friday. As I watched the mind-blowing show it occurred to me that I was watching the future of entertainment. And I was heartened that these artists, with their generous vision and spirit, are right at the forefront of it. Congratulations @u2 and @spherevegas. You present a hopeful future.
