Connie Britton Instagram – On Friday I had the privilege of going to the opening of @spherevegas and @u2. Bono has been an inspiration to me my whole life, starting in high school when, as I listened to “War”, I realized maybe for the first time that as artists we can use our voices to create awareness and change in the world. Throughout my life I have loved @u2’s music and admired Bono’s tenacity and commitment as a global voice of change. And it has been the greatest honor to actually come full circle and work next to him with @one, his organization committed to fighting poverty and disease around the world.
Anyway back to Friday. As I watched the mind-blowing show it occurred to me that I was watching the future of entertainment. And I was heartened that these artists, with their generous vision and spirit, are right at the forefront of it. Congratulations @u2 and @spherevegas. You present a hopeful future.
