Education is vital when it comes to better nutrition. In addition to growing vegetables utilizing hydroponics farming methods and distributing the produce to over 1,300 people in Kibera, we are also educating our community on food preservation techniques, as many families don’t have refrigeration at home.
Up-and-coming farmers, as well as community members who are a part of our program also learn how to cook food in a way that preserves nutrients, bettering the health of our community.
