Chocolate Fudge Buttercream
Ingredients:
1 stick salted butter
1/4 cup vegetable shortening
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 cup hot fudge sauce
1 teaspoon bourbon
1/2 teaspoon salt
Method:
Using a hand or stand mixer cream together the butter and shortening.
Sift Together the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
Add the powdered sugar mix to the butter mix and combine. It will look a little dull. Pour in the milk, hot fudge sauce, bourbon and salt and mix until the buttercream is smooth and shiny. Use to frost your favorite cooled cake.
