Today we visited the basketball camp in Sango where they gave food and clothing, they also offer Free coaching to the children, this with the educational experience gives the children good chances of getting scholarships and grants to goto college. Ok, I’ve finally made it to Mother Africa, Lagos, Nigeria supporting the @aoafoundation and @toyinmodel. He’s been tryn to get me attend his camp for years and this was the year! I get to see how our helping one child turns into helping thousands of women and children. It’s a great opportunity to continue to give back. *Day 2: 2024 AOA Basketball Camp*
On day 2 of the 2024 camp we really honed in on basketball training and focused on the foundational skills that are critical to making every player better.
We kicked off the day with Coach Curtis Berry speaking to the kids about opportunity and working hard to take advantage of the opportunity in front of you.
We then moved into drills that focused on passing, shooting, ball handling, dribbling and footwork, and ended the day with fun free throw and shoot out competitions. 🏀
We are so thankful for all of our awesome coaches who dedicate their time each year and give back to support the kids.
