I cannot believe the last 10 days have flown by just like that. It has been an honour to serve as a member of the jury at this year’s @festivaldecannes , a role that I took very seriously. It has been a privilege to listen and learn from my fellow incredible jurors. I will miss discussing art and cinema with all of them in such incredible detail. Spending hours with them enlightened me, and I hope our paths will cross again artistically or beyond . The passion they have for this wonderful art form is something I hope to carry with me through all my work. Thank you to all the filmmakers and craftsmen behind all the films. You have given so much of yourselves ; some of you risked your lives and livelihoods to make your art and join us. I am truly grateful to be able to experience cinema from all over the world. There are so many diverse voices and stories that I enjoyed absorbing and being captivated by, each with an important message and narrative. I encourage everyone to see as many films as you can in the cinema . There is no greater feeling than sitting in the dark and being transported by a filmmaker’s vision and meeting new characters that speaks to you or challenges you. To Thierry and Iris, thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me on this journey. A special thank you to everyone who worked at the festival. You made it comfortable and safe for me , my team, and the rest of the jury. This experience has been unforgettable from start to finish, and I will treasure it in my heart forever.
