My hip flexors get really tight which can lead you to a whole heap of problems. Lower back pain, pain when lying down, pain through the quads. For me it even leads to pain in my glutes. Stretching my hips regularly is something I’ve had to do since I used to do Thai boxing. I know it’s boring and most of us are pushed for time, but stretching is an essential part of your training. Regardless of how fit or strong you are, your body shapes the way you move it. Lots of people have long commutes to work sat in a car or public transport, then a lot of us are sat at work as well. I told myself going back to the radio that I’d stand up when we play songs but it lasted about 4 days 🥴 so I have to stretch daily post training or before bed to keep as supple as possible.
