Glenn Close Instagram – It was with joy and expectation that I attended this year’s Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting in Omaha. The first time that Warren Buffett addressed the 45,000 strong audience without his partner, Charlie Munger, sitting beside him, eating See’s peanut brittle, offering brilliant, witty, succinct comments. It was a fascinating, uplifting day which started with an incredibly moving video tribute to Charlie–Warren’s partner for 60 years. The fact that, without flagging, 93 year-old Warren continues to lead these meetings in both the morning and afternoon sessions and that the capacity audience of 45,000 stays silent and engaged is a phenomenon not matched anywhere.
