Grace Chan Instagram – It took me 32 years to finally understand art… …and for some it may take longer or no time at all. You see, art to me has always been one of the most subjective human experiences. You can love it, understand it, be frightened by it, or confused by it. The list goes on. Visiting the newly opened Bruce Nauman exhibition at Tai Kwun, I felt all of the aforementioned emotions. The works are thought provoking and often requires a second look. His art really draws you in with its “loudness” in midst of the simplicity. This exhibition opened my eyes and mind. I loved it. I really do. My favorite work is the three heads “waterfall” piece which not only looks intriguing but pierces your memory with sight and sound. There’s so much to be experienced at this exhibition. I promise it won’t disappoint.
