Heather Headley Instagram – My husband and his brother are watching the game (#RollTide 😉). The kids are occupied. Giving me a moment to write my #journal before the end of the evening. Like many of you, this day makes me reflect. Look in the rear view mirror. Rewind the film. Turn my head and look back. And as much as I’d like to sit here and write ‘but this wasn’t right…’ and ‘remember what s/he said or did to hurt you or anger you,’ or ‘this made you cry…that made you hurt…,’ I think this journal will end with #thanksgiving. #awe. Tears of #gratefulness. I read my entry January 1st, and everything I asked for, wanted, needed to accomplish…was! We’re healthy. We’re alive. We’re together. We’re in love. We’re loved. We’ve grown. We’ve learned. We’ve experienced blessings beyond compare. We’ve been kept…and kept so well by a loving and gracious Father. He’s kept His promises to us. And I’m grateful. Yep. #Grateful. We all made it through a year that we were told was going to be tough. And even though, at times it was…here we are!! And I’m so happy for these people i call my family…and for each one of you reading this. Because if you ARE reading this… You made it too. And that’s more than enough to be grateful for!! 2021! It.
