Iza Calzado Instagram – Tingráw Last April 23, a series of events were held in Naga to celebrate the youth, the women and the people of Naga. It also happened to be a day to celebrate the birthday of one amazing woman who hails from Naga named @attylenirobredo 💖 Tingráw, the name of the event, Is a Bicolano word that has several meanings to it and some that I love is “to bloom” “strength” “hope” and that day I felt all these as I took part in the events that @angatbuhay held on that day. To witness how efficiently and effectively the team executed the events amazed me. Ang galing ng team @raffymagno at lahat ng volunteers. Saludo ako! The day started with Matino at Mahusay, a youth summit where I was able to be part of a panel discussion on volunteerism and civic engagement led by @aikarobredo with my partners from @shetalksasia Lakas ng Kababaihan came next and there were 800 mothers who were pampered for the day. From having their nails done, to eye check ups, to massage, having photos taken and more — our nanays were given a day off to take the time to put themselves first. Partners like @belo_essentials @cocacolaph @viviansarabiaoptical and more were very generous with their support. Ang sarap makita ang mga ngiti ng ating super nanays! To cap off the series of events, a concert was held where local talent were given the chance to showcase their gifts and there were artists from Manila who flew in to celebrate the birthday of our beloved Ma’am Leni. You can really feel the love, respect and adoration people have for her. The more time I spend with you, the more I appreciate you for the human being and the leader that you are.
