✨ WHAT A TRIP ✨ From Singapore up towards East of Malaysia to the oldest Rain Forest in the world, Taman Negara the home of the critically endangered Malayan Tiger. We embarked on 3 excursions that have been part curated and developed over 15 months by Save Wild Tigers in Partnership with the Habitat foundation. – The jungle Terrain in Malaysia is dense, combine that with only 150 Malayan tigers that exist in the wild, clearly you won’t see a wild tiger! (we are supposed to protect them, not pet them through a cage or walk on them as a rug!🤬.. However, learning and understanding the issues around poaching and deforestation whilst being guided thru the most insanely beautiful and biodiverse terrain with expert guides has enhanced my knowledge of what we can do and who is doing genuine work that needs support. We said goodbye to the @easternoriental just north of Georgetown on the north west coast of Malaysia and headed over to LANGKAWI. Wow, upon approaching this island I could tell from the rugged terrain and wild mangroves this place would have my heart. From stepping off the boat and arriving @datailangkawi meeting the local wildlife (Dusty Langers, cheeky monkeys, hornbills, crazy frogs I found myself where I belong (I’m a junglist) We finished off with a fundraising beach side gala dinner, like no other! Fair to say the electric monsoon rave went off! ✨😎 I have been an ambassador for savewildtigers for over 10 years and I can truly say this has been such a personal magical educational journey for me, keeping my soul deeply connected to Mother Earth and the majestic creatures she has created, raising awareness and sharing the importance of protecting the Tiger and all wild animals in there natural habitats I am extremely grateful to share this experience and blessed to do it in such style ✨ I want to thank Simon clinton for being the perfect mentor and trailblaiser for this cause, and all my crazy beautiful friends who have supported us throughout this process and in raising awareness, whilst being Majorly fabulous. Thankyou 🙏 Please join our guests who are now Tiger advocates in helping spread the word! love, Jaime @savewildtigers #stoppoaching ❤️🐯
