Day 1 in paradise! ☀️☀️ What’s your favorite way to relax and recharge? The first day of vacation for me is usually about sitting my butt in a chair and moving the least amount possible. Ha! And catching up on emails, texts, and making sure I’m all set to truly “unplug” for the rest of vacation. 🙅🏼♀️👩🏼💻
I know the option to step away with my family like this is such a privilege and because of that I don’t take a moment of our time together for granted. I also know it’s just a matter of time until @hazelrothofficial wants to hang with friends, wear non-matching clothes, and do her own thing. And that’s ok too. But for right now, I’m cherishing every mom moment with my sweet girl. (And I’m sure @brettrothofficial would also like to hang with friends, wear non-matching clothes, and do his own thing but…NO WAY! He’s stuck with me. 😂)

Everything we do (packing our luggage, drinking a lemonade while we wait for the plane, finding our seats) can be a moment for gratitude and happiness. It’s definitely easier when your toddler is being cute and you’re on vacation (let’s see if I feel the same enthusiasm on the flight home right!?) but you know what I’m getting at.
