Jennie Jacques Instagram – Morning/Afternoon NOT what I had planned (AT ALL) for #meawarenessday – but at least I can do bits from my bed 🛌 & my curtains are open & I can hear the beautiful birds tweeting 🌈 plus I’m really enjoying being able to be part of @thechroniccolab protest from bed 🛌 too! 💙 I had wanted to put my #makeup on, paint my nails 💅 blue & wear my dress 👗 to make a video with my BIG camera 🎥 #canon5dmarkiii & encourage people to join in the Disney bake off @bake4mecfs with @smileforme in honour of #merryncrofts who we sadly lost to #severeme in 2017… please watch the interview (LINK in my bio) to learn more & help us by signing the open letter by @mefoggydog * I always try hard to keep my sense of humour during the harder times & have faith that I’ll be back on my feet 💪 but it’s vital to be mindful that I’m at the “milder” end (even though it is still life altering) & moreover I do get respite between flare ups… for some this is severe & constant… & they’re the heroes I aspire to when I can’t find my humour. I will fight for ALL #pwme when I can. Please know, you’re always on my mind 💙 * Secondary depression can unfortunately be inevitable with an illness such as this & many others #heartdisease #stroke #parkinsonsdisease – & suicide risk, drastically increased. This isn’t nice to talk about but #pwme even look (very seriously) into assisted dying & some go through with it – not because they want to die but because living with #mecfs can have such a low quality of life. * We need your help & support to make change & fund the science behind this – I champion @polybiorf & @decodemestudy 💥 * And watch this space… because I will be back 🔥 👀 #terminator 😂 & it’ll be dolled up in my blue dress 👗 as planned!
