Jenny Beavan Instagram – All those years ago….I was on holiday with the family and friends in Florida when I received a call from my Mum to say that someone called Jenny Beavan wanted me to meet her in California and measure one Angelica Huston. I took a couple of days out of my holiday and popped over to LA to meet and measure. Carried on with the Hol, went home to Worthing…then on to meet Jenny and Angelica in Provence with finished costumes for Angelica! I was pursuaded to ‘have a chat’ with Drew. Went home to Worthing and, 8 days later, I returned to Salat with a finished dress for Drew. She was having supper with the director but cancelled! She came to try it on and it fitted. Jenny’s joke was, ‘don’t worry, Jane has a book on Cranach!’ I still have it. 😂
