What a great honour to witness and host the signing of MOU between Buzud and Singapore Manufacturing Federation! 🤝 Signed by SMF CEO Mr. Dennis Mark and BUZUD CEO Mr. Frankie Fan, this partnership powers BUZUD, our local medical device brand, to be manufactured right here in Singapore. 🇸🇬 Not only does this boost the strength in R&D and production of medical devices, it also gives our healthcare brands a chance to shine on the global stage, setting new standards in the medical world! 🌟🇸🇬 I learnt so much from the sharing by Dr Chong Yeh Woei, Dr Donovan Tay and Dr Tan Yong Seng about best eating practices and how our daily lifestyle habits impact our blood glucose levels. It makes me so curious that I would want to wear a Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) device on me. Yes, we don’t have to be diabetic to use the CGM. There are benefits in doing so, because we can then observe how what we eat causes our blood sugar level to spike (or not). What was very shocking to me: eating a bowl of white rice is equivalent to eating 12 spoons of sugar 😱😱😱 P.S. this was my first medical conference and I was a little worried, but glad it all went well and I thank the team at BUZUD for entrusting their faith in me.
