Kate Mara Instagram – @plantbasednews • As a society, we view and treat animals very differently depending on their species.⠀ ⠀ Some we share our home with and cuddle up to on the couch. 🐕⠀ ⠀ Others we lock away in an enclosure and charge people money to come and see them behind bars and glass. 🐒⠀ ⠀ Others we breed into existence just to eat their flesh. 🐷⠀ ⠀ We forcibly impregnate cows, take their baby away and then steal their milk for our own consumption. 🐄⠀ ⠀ We rip the skin and fur from the bodies of others to keep us warm, when we have synthetic materials which can fulfill the same purpose. 🦊⠀ ⠀ And others… we track through the forest and put a bullet in their skull, not for survival or food, but for ‘fun’. 🦌⠀ The only difference is our perception. 👀 ⠀ 📷: @_menkay_
