While I thought I would be super productive and be able to do it all… turns out, I couldn’t. All I could do was be with family and surrender to each day. In this season of life, I’ve realized each day is beyond unpredictable. Our most important role is to be the steady and safe place for all the playtime and big feelings. If we start something, it will most likely take a few attempts because of interruptions— and that’s okay. You have time. Take your time.🙏🏼🤍 (the Christmas tree took at least 6 days to completely come down) This past month included a lot of sickness, a long school break, tons of holiday activities, travels, hosting, family FaceTimes, and choosing presence over productivity.
