Kimberley Crossman Instagram – We made each other’s wedding rings!
This is so special to share with you all. Tom and I wanted to do something a little different when it came to our wedding bands. We teamed up with the amazing @seracruickshank from @thediamondshop to bring our vision to life.
Tom’s Dad, Kieran is sadly no longer with us but Tom did have a little bit of Gold in a vile that him and his dad collected gold mining a few years ago. When we decided we would (attempt) to make our own wedding rings, we knew we wanted to put that gold in our bands, so we had a bit of Kieran in there too. Sadly, I never had the opportunity to meet him but from all accounts we would have got on brilliantly. This is such a beautiful way to have him be a part of our forever union.
We also wanted something a little different than just a band. Tom’s ring has two tiny green emeralds to signify my eyes and my band has two brown stones to represent Tom’s eyes.
The ring making process was much harder than I anticipated but the coolest and most special experience. We are so excited to get to wear the rings in the next few weeks!
