Kimberly Williams-Paisley Instagram – This week I got to address the 5th Annual Symposium on Alzheimer’s and Dementia in Knoxville, TN, as well as tour the incredible @patsummitt clinic headed up by Dr. Roberto Fernandez-Romero. I wish we’d been able to come to this place when my mother was sick. They’ve thought of so many details for patients and their caregivers. The entire design of the building, from the carpet to the lighting, is thoughtful and calming. There is a driving simulator to help assess the right time for a patient to stop driving. The research they are doing is innovative and exciting. What a great way to honor Pat’s life. I left feeling really hopeful. Thank you for having me, Dr. Fernandez! 🧡🧡 #endalz
