‘Amazon Music Demos’ gives you the opportunity to delve into the creative process behind the songs you hold close to your heart.
I recorded the demo on my own on a laptop in the wee hours, holed up in my basement flat bedroom in North London in 2003. The song is entirely inspired by the brilliant album cover of ‘Horses’ by @thisispattismith – an arresting black white photo by #RobertMapplethorpe.
